Just yesterday Google announced it was rolling out a core algorithm update. These updates can take several days to fully roll out.

This is the second time that Google has pre-announced a core update.
Why do core updates matter?
Whenever Google rolls out an update it means that a significant amount of websites either decline or improve in search ranking.
According to Google if you happen to see a decline in search visibility due to a core update there’s nothing to fix. “We know those with sites that experience drops will be looking for a fix, and we want to ensure they don’t try to fix the wrong things. Moreover, there might not be anything to fix at all.” Google added, “There’s nothing wrong with pages that may perform less well in a core update.”
Regardless, if you see an abrupt decline in search engine rankings, there’s always something to fix. If you saw a noticeable decline due to this update, or any past/future update – give us a call at 303-500-5836.
In the interim, I’ll continue to monitor ranking fluctuations and data to determine what this update impacted most.
